INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Colts look to snap a two-game losing streak as they play the Vikings on the road on Sunday.
The Vikings have one of the best defenses in the NFL, leading the league in scoring defense. Minnesota is also second in the NFL in yards allowed per game.
Colts quarterback Daniel Jones has had his struggles this season, as he has turned the ball over nine times in the first six games.
Former Colts head coach Chuck Pagano shared what his message would be for Jones as Indianapolis faces the tough Vikings defense.
“It’s the same message I give to my wife, Tina, every time she heads out the door to the beauty salon: Good luck,” Pagano said. “I’m kidding. He better have written on his gloves, hot potato.”
Pagano compared the Vikings defense to Halloween and scary movies with how good they have played this season. Plus, the Vikings are tied for the best in the NFL in turnover margin at plus-six. The Colts are tied for last at minus-eight.
“Protect that ball, get it out of your hands, be efficient with things, and take what they give you,” Pagano said.
Kickoff against the Vikings is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday.
